Welcome To Southern Utah Heritage Choir |
| | | We seek to bring everyone, including ourselves, closer to the Lord through the regular performance of wholesome music from all styles, periods and geographical locations of the world. The musical emphasis is on sacred hymns and anthems. Everyone would surely agree we live in a time when things sacred and holy are often being demeaned and challenged on every side. It is the desire of the Heritage Choir to point to the goodness in all people and place God back in the center of our society. | | | The choir has been blessed to have the use of the historic and picturesque St. George Tabernacle as our home. The Tabernacle was built by faithful pioneers in this desert of the Utah Territory where comforts and conveniences were scarce and Native Americans freely roamed the sandy foothills. It was crafted with crude handmade tools. Large sandstone rocks were cut by hand from the hillside to the north of town and lumber was hauled by oxen from miles away. These faithful saints were great lovers of good music and the Heritage Choir is pleased to again raise their sacred musical admonitions heavenward from this sacred edifice. |  |
