Thank you for your interest in the Southern Utah Heritage Choir.
The Southern Utah Heritage Choir is a voluntary community choir with over 175 members from the Southern Utah area. The sacred mission of the choir is to
“Bring our audiences closer to the Savior through music."
Membership in the choir is a demanding but very rewarding commitment, Members must be in good health, able to participate fully in long rehearsals, physically able to travel, and capable of handling expenses such as dues, wardrobe costs and travel expenses. Rehearsals are held every Thursday evening, with an occasional Saturday morning as needed.
We invite community members to join the choir. We encourage a realistic decision pertaining to availability to attend regularly and willingness to accept the choir requirements. Auditions are required (a prepared selection is preferred). After the audition is completed, the Membership Committee will review the audition result, and notify the applicant of the status of the application. Upon entering the choir, an orientation will be given by the pertinent section leader.
An application packet and further information can be obtained at the choir office located at 20 Main Street, Suite 321 in St. George. Office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
