Music brings us together, but service carries that spirit beyond the concert hall. Our singers are volunteers in the Choir—and throughout the communities they call home.
The Southern Utah Heritage Choir is built on volunteerism. Our members give their time and talents to make music together, and many carry that same spirit of service into museums, schools, civic organizations, charitable projects, and neighborhoods throughout Southern Utah and beyond.
PRESERVING LOCAL HISTORY

For an organization with “Heritage” in its name, that connection feels especially fitting. The history we celebrate through music is also kept alive by people willing to give their time to preserve it.
SERVICE BEYOND SOUTHERN UTAH
Southern Utah Heritage Choir members donated more than 200 pairs of eyeglasses that were delivered to Dr. Cherry Adjchavanich, International Rotary District Chair in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Working with local optometrists, the glasses were evaluated by prescription so they could be matched and gifted to people in need—turning something as simple as an unused pair of glasses into a practical act of service.
GATHERING FOR GOOD
Choir members Chris Tonks and Sandy Day volunteer with Switchpoint's Gather the Good events in St. George, joining community members who come together to serve and strengthen Southern Utah.
Their involvement is another example of the spirit our singers carry beyond rehearsals and performances—giving their time where it can make a difference close to home.
